HIRING: FREELANCE
CONTENT EDITOR

Part-time · Ongoing

There’s no fixed closing date. This role will remain open until the right person is found. If you’re reading this, applications are still open.

I’m building FLOORONE alongside my work as a touring videographer.

As the platform has grown, I’m looking for an experienced content editor I can rely on in the background to help keep social content consistent, without needing close management.

This is a focused, execution-led role for someone comfortable working within clear structure and turning rough inputs into clean, ready-to-post content.

THE ROLE

You’ll be supporting FLOORONE’s social output by:

  • Editing short-form video (primarily Reels)

  • Building simple, text-led carousel posts

  • Turning rough notes, bullet points, or voice memos into clean social-first copy

  • Working from clear templates, formats, and references

I provide the ideas, context, and inputs.
You deliver ready-to-post content.

TOOLS & EXPERIENCE

You should be comfortable with:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Basic audio cleanup (mostly dialogue)

  • Clean colour correction (not heavy grading)

  • Photoshop / Lightroom for simple image prep

  • InDesign / Illustrator for text-led layouts

You should also be proficient at extracting value from rough notes or voice memos and packaging it for social platforms.

This role is best suited to someone with existing experience editing social content for brands.

LOCATION & WORKING STYLE

  • Fluent written and spoken English is required

  • This is a remote role, open to applicants in any location

The work itself is flexible, but deadlines matter. I’m looking for someone who’s proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

HOW TO APPLY

If this sounds like a good fit, apply using the form below and include:

  • Examples of relevant short-form or social content you’ve edited (video and copy based)

  • Your availability (rough hours per week)

  • Your monthly rate for 8 reels + 8 carousels
(use the FLOORONE feed to understand scope and output)

  • A sentence or two on how you like to work
